Enhanced Functional Assessment In Urgent and Emergency Care
This course will provide AHPs and Nurses with a range of knowledge and skills, to enhance their assessment of a person’s functional difficulties, within the urgent and emergency care setting. The course focuses on how practitioners can support early assessment and diagnosis for people who primarily present with acute changes in their mobility or ability to carry out their Activities of Daily Living [ADLs].

Assessment and Management of Dizziness and Acute Balance Impairment
This course will provide AHPs and Nurses with a range of knowledge and skills, to assess and treat a person who has primarily presented to urgent and emergency care settings with dizziness or balance problems. Learners will already have a basic understanding of the neurological system, and will be looking to develop their knowledge further, and to confidently assess and manage the person experiencing dizziness or acute balance impairment.

Skills for Health and Social Care Professionals to Develop Your Own Learning Activities
A new course due to be introduced for 2026. This course will prepare health and social care professionals to develop their own learning activities. The course will cover learning theories and the teaching cycle, and introduce learners to a range of learning activities to meet different learning styles and needs. There will be opportunity during the course to develop your own learning activity.
